pleased to announce the new XR6 Turbo packages from APS which are
seriously engaged in the enhancement of the new Falcon XR6-T. Boasting
an enviable range of inclusive, engine power-up systems ranging
from 280kW to 390kW, APS possesses the products and experience needed
to radically enhance the Falcon XR6-T. |

As
one would expect, Australia's foremost exponent of Forced Induction, APS
in conjunction with CNJ Motorsport are heavily involved with the improvement
of the Falcon XR6-T.
Anyone thinking that simple bolt-ons will do anything for this vehicle without
seriously compromising engine durability is making a huge mistake. The manufacturer
has gone to truly extra ordinary lengths to prevent aftermarket modifications
from altering the power output of this engine. Consequently the only place
one can really commence any improvement program is with the ECU - So this
is where CNJ begins. Precisely configured engine management optimization
with the Unichip control unit calibrated to lift the power output from 240
kW to an impressive 280 kW - with no other changes.

Unichip computer works in perfect harmony with the standard engine management
system and optimizes the air fuel ratio, ignition timing and boost maps
to achieve an outstanding improvement in power - along with an significant
improvement in throttle response and low to mid RPM torque.

Smart
Power, that's what the PHASE II High Output System is all about. By adopting
a total system approach We deliver a phenomenal 330 kW utilizing a relatively
conservative turbo pressure level of 9.5 psi - and consequently lower
thermal and mechanical engine loads than others who use high risk strategies
of up to13 psi to achieve a similar quoted power result. |
After
many months of extensive research and development, We are excited to release
330 kW of adrenalin pumping PHASE II performance.
The challenge was to deliver high power, excellent drivability and retain
stock fuel efficiency through innovative engineering. This is delivered
across the entire RPM range and under all operating conditions by the
clever combination of:

modest turbocharger pressure

The
Ford XR6 Turbo has a high tech multi valve engine which produces respectable
power and torque with clean engine emissions. To enhance this engine was
always going to take a committed effort combined with clever engineering
approach to produce a very fast emission and noise legal vehicle.

day one APS was committed to engineer a high quality 390 kW system which
would continue to comply with the Australian design rule ADR 79/00 engine
emission test, yet still be capable of running high 11 sec - low 12 sec
quarter mile passes. In addition, to be user friendly and extremely drivable
in every day bumper to bumper traffic.
When
you consider the craftsmanship in the 304 stainless steel Tig welded
exhaust, the highly specified fuel system, enormous bar & plate
front mount intercooler, technical sophistication of the Unichip computer,
and the precision of the cold air intake we are sure you will appreciate
and enjoy the high level of APS engineering for many years to come.
